Forter
Senior Marketing Manager, SEA & ANZ
Salary
Job description
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our growing APAC go-to-market team. Based in our Singapore office, this marketer will be responsible for developing and executing integrated demand generation and field marketing strategies across SEA & ANZ, working closely with the regional sales team to drive qualified pipeline and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing within the payments, e-commerce, or fintech space, and is a lifelong learner, with experience in using diverse strategies including events, content, and AI to drive demand generation. The right candidate is comfortable with working in an agile way, and will help Forter expand its relationships with large retail merchants, PSPs, and in emerging verticals like online gaming and travel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner closely with the SEA & ANZ sales leadership to understand pipeline needs and build a regional marketing plan that drives qualified demand across priority segments, including PSPs, e-commerce, travel and gaming.
- Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns tailored to the nuances of the SEA & ANZ market, including digital account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting high-value accounts.
- Own regional field marketing and events – identifying, managing, and measuring the right industry events, roundtables, and hosted experiences to generate pipeline and deepen customer relationships.
- Build and grow Forter's partner marketing activity in the region, co-marketing with key ecosystem partners such as PSPs, payment platforms, and cloud providers to extend reach and drive joint pipeline.
- Develop regional customer advocacy and case study programs, leveraging the growing roster of SEA & ANZ customer wins to build social proof and drive new pipeline.
- Collaborate with the global content and product marketing teams to localise and develop insight-led content that resonates with regional buyers, translating global messaging for markets including Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and India.
- Analyse campaign and pipeline performance, identify key trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to continuously improve marketing effectiveness across the region.
- Stay current with the competitive landscape – and work with product marketing to ensure Forter's regional positioning is compelling and differentiated.
What you’ll need:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B demand generation or field marketing, ideally within e-commerce, payments, fraud prevention, or adjacent fintech/SaaS industries.
- Deep familiarity with the SEA & ANZ market landscape, ideally with understanding of some of our key verticals such as PSPs, digital commerce, travel, gaming, and financial services.
- A track record of building and executing regional marketing programmes that generate measurable pipeline and revenue impact, working in close partnership with sales.
- Strong experience in field and event marketing, with the ability to evaluate, plan, and execute regional events that deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Experience building partner marketing programmes and co-marketing with ecosystem partners.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot), CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and AI tools such as Claude.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple programmes across multiple markets simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global and regional teams.
- Language skills would be a strong bonus – particularly Mandarin, Bahasa/Malay, or Thai.
