Job description
The Business Analyst, DI and Executive Benefits, supports strategy execution and initiative governance by translating strategic direction into clear plans, prioritized initiatives, and leadership‑ready insights. This role partners cross‑functionally with Product, Finance, Legal, Distribution, Marketing, and Technology to coordinate planning activities, track progress, and ensure alignment between enterprise strategy, DI and Multi‑Life priorities, and funded initiatives. The analyst maintains strategy roadmaps and initiative portfolios, prepares executive materials and dashboards, documents decisions and trade‑offs, and monitors risks, dependencies, and performance metrics to enable informed leadership decisions and disciplined execution.

A structured, detail‑oriented business analyst who helps leaders turn strategy into action. You are comfortable working across multiple teams, pulling together data, assumptions, and inputs to support planning, prioritization, and execution. You communicate clearly, document decisions carefully, and bring discipline to tracking initiatives, risks, and outcomes. You are equally effective in preparing executive ready materials and managing the day‑to‑day coordination needed to keep complex initiatives moving forward.
You have
Professional Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in business analysis, strategy execution, or program and initiative management, including experience in insurance, finance, or operations roles.
Experience supporting strategic initiatives in a matrixed organization.
Financial services or insurance experience preferred: especially with Disability and/or Executive Benefits.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Technical Experience
Ability to build and maintain executive ready dashboards, updates on portfolio
Leadership:
Demonstrates strategic thinking by translating enterprise and business‑line strategy into clear priorities, plans, and decision insights.
Leads through influence without authority to align cross‑functional teams and drive outcomes.
Communicate effectively with senior leaders by distilling complex information into clear, concise, and actionable messages.
Applies strong organizational discipline to bring structure, rigor, and follow‑through to planning and execution.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking
Ability to assess strategic options, trade‑offs, and risks, and translate complex inputs into clear recommendations that support leadership decision‑making.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, monitor initiative performance, and identify insights, trends, and implications across a portfolio of strategic initiatives.
You will
Prepare executive‑ready materials for strategy, planning, prioritization, and governance discussions.
Compile and synthesize data, assumptions, and cross‑functional inputs to support strategic decision‑making.
Coordinate agendas, pre‑reads, meetings, and follow‑ups for strategy and prioritization forums.
Maintain strategy roadmaps, priority lists, and a portfolio view of active initiatives.
Track initiative timelines, milestones, owners, risks, dependencies, and alignment to objectives and capital assumptions.
Consolidate status updates into concise summaries and dashboards for senior leadership.
Document decisions, approvals, scope or funding changes, and key action items.
Support business cases, capital requests, and investment trade‑off analysis through clear insights and recommendations.
Reporting Relationships
As our Business Analyst DI and Executive Benefits, you will report to our Head of Multi-life Risk Strategy & Underwriting and DI&ML Portfolio Management
Location
Bethlehem, PA, Holmdel, NJ, or Pittsfield, MA with work from home flexibility.
Travel
20% of travel is required for this role for in-person and/or sales meetings.
Salary Range:
$68,970.00 - $113,310.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
