Role: Interior Designer - Francophone focused - Maternity cover
This is a maternity cover role for a Parisian team member from the 1 May 2026 – 31 December 2026.
This position required is a regional role with a specialisation in corporate interior design being the focus. With this in mind, excellent communication is critical, as the majority if not all of our collaboration is completed online through digital communication tools. Additionally, this role focuses on collaboration between Design Desk and our Francophone studios.
A European second would be very beneficial, specifically French.
Overview:
We're seeking an exceptional Interior Designer to join our high-achieving, global team of visionaries crafting extraordinary spaces worldwide. As a key member of our dream team, you'll contribute to projects that push the boundaries of design and leave lasting impressions on clients and users alike.
In this dynamic role, you'll need to be a true chameleon, adept at seamlessly transitioning between various tasks and challenges. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative designs and stunning presentations, but your versatility will shine as you tackle layouts, technical drawings, and immersive visualizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop groundbreaking and functional interior design concepts for diverse global projects
Push the boundaries of innovation in spatial design and aesthetics
Create compelling presentations that effectively communicate design ideas to clients
Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
Craft layouts that optimize space utilization and enhance user experience
Generate photorealistic renderings and virtual walkthroughs using tools like Enscape
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity throughout project execution
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture
Proven experience in corporate design
Proficiency in Revit (essential)
Required Skills and Qualities:
Strong creative vision and ability to conceptualize innovative design solutions
Excellent visual communication skills and an eye for aesthetics
Ability to adapt to different design styles and project requirements
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Openness to learning and embracing new technologies and methodologies
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Team player mentality with the ability to work independently when required
