Job Description:

Job Summary:

This position focuses on understanding, classifying, and processing documentation based on customs regulations applicable to import processes. The person in this role must be able to perform accurate tariff classification, ensuring that the corresponding import duties and taxes are applied correctly. Responsibilities: General administrative management, including answering calls, tracking cases, and handling internal and external escalations. Providing clients with information on the status of their packages and the associated customs process. Identifying, processing, and requesting the documentation and information required for submission to the customs agency. Understanding, classifying, and processing import documentation in accordance with current customs regulations. Performing accurate tariff classification and verifying the correct calculation of import duties and charges. Addressing client requests, inquiries, and requirements in a timely and effective manner. Maintaining direct contact with internal and external clients to ensure process continuity. Auditing documents and verifying that the information received meets established requirements. Supporting operational workflows through the proper use of office tools and internal systems.

Qualifications:

Professional or technologist in foreign trade, international business, or related fields (required). Customer service experience (preferred). Experience in customs or import processes (preferred). Intermediate English. Intermediate Excel skills (required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Basic or intermediate knowledge of tariff classification and import documentation will be considered an asset.

Other Details:

Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00 AM to 10:30 a.m. (44 hours per week). Grade: 007. Modality: Remoto. Residence in Medellín (metropolitan area). Availability to work on holidays. Application deadline: Apr 20, 2026.
