Key Responsibilities:
Partner closely with data science, engineering, and platform teams to operationalize analytics and AI solutions end‑to‑end, ensuring they are production‑ready, scalable, and fully integrated into user experiences.
Translate complex business questions into structured analytical problems, producing clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
Develop compelling visualizations and data‑driven narratives to communicate insights effectively to operational and executive audiences.
Design, build, and deploy advanced analytics, statistical models, and machine learning solutions to:
o Analyze spend and buying patterns
o Forecast demand and optimize planning
o Evaluate supplier performance and risk
Apply data science methodologies to drive cost savings, mitigate supply and continuity risks, and ensure contract and policy compliance.
Leverage SQL and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to analyze procurement data and deliver scalable, high‑value insights.
Build, automate, and maintain robust data pipelines and analytical workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow and Alteryx.
Integrate analytics and AI insights into core procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba) to enable real‑time, workflow‑embedded decision support.
Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and integrity across multiple procurement systems and data sources.
Own and scale AI‑enabled analytics solutions, including:
o Predictive forecasting and optimization models
o Intelligent recommendations embedded within buying and procurement workflows
o Automation and AI agents that execute or recommend actions in real time
Drive adoption by embedding insights directly into decision workflows rather than relying on static reports or dashboards.
·Measure, track, and communicate business impact of analytics and AI initiatives, including efficiency gains, cost savings, risk reduction, and improved user and supplier experience.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across Procurement and Data & Analytics, contributing to team capability development through tools, standards, and training.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and Eight Years' Experience
OR
Masters' Degree and Six Years' Experience
OR
PhD and Two Years' Experience
Preferred Qualifications
An exceptional track record of applying procurement principles, concepts, best practices, and standards, along with in-depth knowledge of industry practices is required.
In-depth knowledge of procurement technology platforms, including ERP systems, e-procurement solutions and digital tools. Ability to manage technology integration projects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with business needs.
A track record of success leading and participating in cross-functional reengineering or process improvement efforts; including experience creating process diagrams, analyzing workflows, developing standard operating procedures, and reengineering business processes.
Superior communication, presentation and change leadership & management skills are required.
Experience leading AI-enabled business transformation or automation initiatives
Familiarity with procurement, finance, operations, or enterprise systems analytics
Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic business recommendations
Exceptional experience working with and supporting multiple projects and teams simultaneously across a matrixed organization.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supplier lifecycle processes including supplier risk assessment and onboarding, ongoing due diligence, and supplier offboarding
