Who are we hiring?
During events, the Suite Attendant provides food & beverage service as well as overall hospitality to guests in Suites. This individual also assists with general and event-related questions while exhibiting a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to build relationships that will enhance the guest experience.
What will you do?
- Set up assigned suites prior to event, maintain cleanliness of space during event, and clean up suites at event conclusion; report any maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, set up product upon delivery and prepare beverages as requested.
- Checks identification to ensure authenticity and confirm it meets the legal drinking age of 21
- Mixes, garnishes and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests
- Maintain presence in suite during event and address any guest questions or concerns, escalating to Supervisor as needed.
- Knowledge and execution utilizing suite POS technology.
- Handle credit card and suite billing transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and all billing instructions have been followed.
- Ensure all disposables, beverages and F&B service equipment are up to par/functional both pre- and post-event.
- Adhere to Southern Nevada Department of Health food handling regulations and Company’s alcohol service guidelines (TEAM training guidelines)
- Suite Attendants may also be assigned to work in Catering.
What do you need to succeed?
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a front of house role within a high-end restaurant, hotel or arena/stadium Suites environment.
- Extensive Food & Beverage product knowledge.
- Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations and proper food handling certifications.
- Must take and pass TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Nevada training class and adhere to TEAM training guidelines.
- Proven ability to listen, understand and communicate effectively and to follow written instructions with precision.
- Passion for guest service and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using POS system.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience
Special Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
- General physical requirements such as occasional kneeling. Pushing, Pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, walking long distances, bending and constant motion is often required.
- May be exposed to theatrical smoke, strobe lights, pyrotechnics, intense sound, rapid motion video effects, smoke, and odors
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
