Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

• Provide guidance, training, and instructions for the Department
• Work with management on reaching department goals and objectives
• Ability to run the different tube bending machines
• Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Required Skills:

• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to use/understand shop math.

Other Abilities: Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints and sketches. To apply a working knowledge of characteristics of different types of metals and materials used. To use arithmetic, including fractions and engineering specifications. Must understand the use of check templates.
