Position Summary:

A gas station attendant provides customer service at a full-service gas pumps and oversees gas pump management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.

• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.

• Maintain a sharp focus on delivering excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns.

• Enthusiastically greet guests.

• Pump requested amount of gasoline.

• Clean all self-serve gas pumps between guests.

• Assist guests with momentum and discount processing.

• Assist with overall station upkeep, including emptying trash bins, keeping pumps clean, replacing window cleaning fluids, cleaning fuel spills, and sweeping floors.

• Comply with all laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.

• Maintain site appearance standards.

• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

• 1-year experience in a high-volume customer service environment.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Possess a strong understanding of basic math, basic vehicle mechanics, and knowledge of safety protocols, such as where shut-off valves are located and how to use them in case of emergency. 

• Must be able to understand and consistently deliver brand standards.

• Must possess effective oral and written skills and be able to communicate clearly in English.

• Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Must possess strong customer service skills with a willingness to take on multiple tasks.

• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.

• Must be able to work outdoors for an 8-hour shift.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous casino Gas Station and Convenience Store experience preferred.
