Location: Mississauga, ON (Onsite)
Department: Maintenance
Salary Range: $42.21-$45.16 per hour
Schedule: Straight Days
Vacancy Type: New Position
As our next Rigging Millwright, you will be responsible for safely planning, coordinating, and executing machinery moves within the plant. You will play a critical role in ensuring equipment is relocated, aligned, and installed with precision while maintaining the highest standards of safety for people, equipment, and facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing
Inspecting and preparing loads for safe movement
Selecting and inspecting appropriate rigging gear for each job
Preparing and using rigging equipment such as beams, pulleys, clamps, bolts, and slings
Setting, aligning, and leveling heavy equipment and machinery
Maneuvering loads using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other heavy equipment, as well as by hand when required
Monitoring the condition of rigging equipment and ensuring proper maintenance
Ensuring all rigging activities comply with company and regulatory safety procedures
Communicating effectively with maintenance, rigging, and construction teams during machinery moves
Breaking down and inspecting rigging equipment after use
Supporting continuous improvement of safe rigging practices
Performing other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Valid Certificate of Qualification as a Millwright (433A) in good standing.
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a rigger or rigging millwright
Hoisting & Rigging Certificate from a recognized provider
Forklift and overhead crane certification
Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery
Familiarity with applicable safety standards and regulations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety
Work Environment
Manufacturing and industrial plant environment
Regular exposure to heavy equipment and moving machinery
Physically demanding work including lifting, positioning, and maneuvering loads
Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements
