Job Summary

1. Data Warehouse Development & Management

  • Build and maintain a data warehouse environment to support analytics, reporting, and trend analysis across financial, operational, and business metrics.
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes to extract and transform data from company servers and external data sources.
  • Populate data warehouses and ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency.
  • Test and validate ETL workflows and data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.

2. Data Integration & System Connectivity

  • Design, build, and test end-to-end ETL and data integration solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Develop automated data pipelines to collect, clean, transform, and store data in data warehouses.
  • Operationalize data between cross-functional systems such as ERP, ATS, VMS, and other financial and operational applications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data flow between source systems and target databases.

3. Data Exploration & Insights

  • Mine data for insights and conduct data exploration, cleansing, and transformation activities to support internal data initiatives.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and documentation to present findings and recommendations to management and project stakeholders.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Consult with program management teams, BI leadership, and other business stakeholders to capture analytics and data integration requirements.
  • Support BI Analysts in the design, build, and deployment of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, mappings, and data workflows.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Research and recommend emerging ETL tools, data integration technologies, and best practices.
  • Contribute to data modernization efforts, including migration to cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake.
  • Drive automation and standardization within the data engineering and integration processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced certification or training in ETL tools or cloud data services preferred.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in ETL design, development, and maintenance.
  • Proven experience working with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
