Responsibilities Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The CT Technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team. Qualifications Education: - Post High School Special Training - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology - Cross-trained in Cat Scan Licensure/Certification/Registration: - State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist General Radiographer qualifications license required (Computer Tomography qualifications preferred) - ARRT(R) required - ARRT(CT) preferred - BLS required Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Under the direction of the Department Manager and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care.
