Primary Responsibilities The KeHE Cares Engagement Coordinator is responsible for enabling serving experiences and making sure they are accessible by every KeHE employee. This position will also oversee programs, events, systems, and processes that drive greater employee involvement with serving and giving – specifically through KeHE Cares. This role serves as a critical connector between KeHE’s focus on operational excellence and its purpose-driven mission by fostering meaningful employee involvement in service and impact-focused initiatives. Essential Functions DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serving Engagement & Volunteerism Develop and implement serving engagement and volunteerism strategies across the business. Increase local serving engagement and connection between profitability and purpose. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement “classes” or experiences to deepen employee engagement and volunteerism. Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships necessary for serving engagements. Support warehouse, corporate office, and KeHE’s Summer and Holiday show-based serving engagement initiatives, including the coordination and facilitation of Blessings in a Backpack events . Collaborate with internal teams and care partners to support local engagement, trip planning, training materials, and reporting. Coordinate and maintain the schedule for KeHE Cares Naperville Lunch & Learns Track and report on serving engagement metrics and develop content for internal impact communications. Lead and participate in employee serving trips, both domestically and internationally. Coordinate all pre- and post-trip logistics including communications, surveys, materials, and reports. Schedule and lead all serving experience related calls (kick-off, debrief, immigration and customs, Intro to Poverty and Flourishing, etc.). Responsible for scheduling and running the Intro to KeHE Cares webinar for new employees. Promote and track participation in local serving, serving trips and events. Serving Events & Partner Collaboration Support employee-led serving committees in planning and executing events. Coordinate internal volunteers for the Shaw Cup and show related events. Facilitate connections between KeHE employees and external partners. Collect and analyze data from serving events for reporting and storytelling purposes. Employee Matching Program Management Serve as the employee point of contact for Compassion International sponsorships. Support the planning and coordination of employee sponsor trips. Promote sponsorship initiatives and maintain accurate records and reporting. Administrative Support Assist in the scheduling and coordination of Naperville KeHE Cares Lunch & Learns Assist in the planning and execution of Foundation-led awareness events and initiatives (e.g., KeHE Shows, golf outings). Assist in the management of Monday.com and Work Management Admin Assist with Marketing coordination (liaison with Internal Comms, Newsletters and Reports). Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-starter with initiative and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in nonprofit, foundation, or employee engagement roles preferred. Commitment to service, collaboration, and KeHE’s mission-driven culture. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is a plus. Minimum of 3 years administrative or program coordination experience. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear. Must be able to lift or move items up to 20 pounds occasionally.
