Job description

Join the CVS Health team as a Pharmacy Technician and play an essential role in providing outstanding customer service while supporting the pharmacy operations! In this role, you will assist pharmacists in the following ways:

  • Receive and process prescription orders
  • Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system
  • Count and measure medications with precision
  • Label prescriptions and process insurance claims
  • Handle transactions at the pharmacy counter and drive-thru
  • Answer incoming calls and coordinate with insurance companies
  • Restock medications and maintain organized patient records
  • Ensure the pharmacy area remains clean and orderly

This position offers a pay range of $16 to $22 per hour, with additional opportunities for overtime, holiday pay, and shift differentials for evening or weekend hours based on your location and experience.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be expected to follow CVS pharmacy procedures, remain compliant with HIPAA regulations, and adhere to state pharmacy laws while working under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. Ensuring accuracy, protecting patient information, and delivering excellent customer service are key responsibilities of this position.
