Asst. Manager- Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager - Sales Associate to join our retail team! Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sales associates to achieve daily sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee store operations including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product presentation.
• Lead the team in purchasing used product
• Manage and help team with social media duties
• Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to foster a motivated and knowledgeable team.
• Cash handling, cashiering duties, and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions and inventory control.
• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to boost store traffic and sales performance.
• Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per hour, average transaction value, and inventory turnover to optimize store performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers using excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer purchasing decisions.
• Proven experience in retail sales management with supervisory or assistant manager roles.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus!
• Proficiency in Social media marketing
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, supervising staff, and developing talent.
• Expertise in inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and purchasing processes.
• Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations.
• Skilled in employee orientation, interviewing techniques, training & development programs.
• Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, budgeting, and retail marketing strategies.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during shift management.
