Job Description

The main focus of this position is to acquire new clients, strengthen client connections, and expand internal and external networks to meet business development objectives. Key duties include overseeing the Client Management Process and working collaboratively across the organization to provide a Branded Client Experience, enabling access to a range of Private Bank services and the bank's capabilities to satisfy specific client requirements. Retention of clients is a vital part of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the client process management process within the client team to explore opportunities for new business development
  • Attracts new customers in line with the bank's predefined risk tolerance levels
  • Leads the client team to provide substantial interactions and a distinctive Client Experience that reflects the brand
  • Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs, preferences, and overall financial planning strategy, staying responsive to changes in the business environment or with client requirements
  • Acts as a reliable consultant for clients and prospects, delivering integrated recommendations that include wealth structuring, financial services, credit options, and asset supervision
  • Drives the utilization of digital capabilities to elevate the overall experience for both clients and their teams
  • Develops connections with internal and external partners and sources of influence

Required Qualifications

  • An extensive background of at least 12 years in private banking, handling complex financial services, or a similar field in the financial industry is required
  • Competence in spearheading the development of fresh business ventures for specific customer groups
  • Expertise in presenting clients with a holistic perspective, utilizing all facets of the Private Bank platform
  • A highly relational individual who places importance on personalized care and has outstanding skills in connecting with others
  • A leader who discerns opportunities for client engagement and takes proactive measures to leverage them for the benefit of the client
  • Exhibits a talent for persuasion; actively pursues and clinches business deals
  • The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solutions-oriented approach, coupled with sales and financial competencies
  • Essential to be a skilled negotiator
  • Ability to work with and identify the need for team specialists; collaborate closely with other team members
  • Taking charge as a leader within the team as well as in the business world

Desired Qualifications

  • Choosing between an MBA or a post-graduate degree involves considerations of personal interests and career objectives
  • Individuals with credentials like CFP, CPA, CFA, CTFA, CFM, or JD have a notable advantage
