Job Description

As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for offering personalized financial guidance and tailored solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals and navigate different life stages competently. Your duties will encompass building strong client relationships, assessing their financial requirements, devising individualized strategies, and providing appropriate financial advice. You will be a trusted ally in overseeing clients' investment goals, retirement planning, wealth management, and other crucial financial objectives.

Responsibilities of Client Financial Advisor

  • Working alongside clients to establish their financial objectives for the present and future by crafting a customized financial plan using brokerage products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and investment services
  • Advocates for banking and investment approaches that are in sync with the financial goals and needs of the client
  • Evaluates client requests and makes referrals to the appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and financial thresholds
  • Administers and handles risk in the context of daily tasks
  • Acknowledges and establishes communication with potential clients through referrals or individuals visiting financial centers
  • Supplies coaching and guidance to referral connections by evaluating client needs and recommended product services

Required Qualifications

  • Possesses at least one year of practical involvement in the investments industry, with investment training and a comprehensive familiarity with various investment vehicles.
  • Should have at least one year of experience working in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Successfully accomplishes tasks by setting clear and attainable targets.
  • Develops and sustains strong relationships.
  • Works seamlessly with teammates to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and exudes confidence in interactions with clients, regardless of their background.
  • Manages objectives, navigates through intricacies, prioritizes tasks, and executes them quickly in a fast-paced setting.
  • Shows enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge, readily adjusts to fresh information, and is dedicated to finding effective solutions for clients.
  • Skillfully balances time management and capacity.
  • Adopts a meticulous and thoughtful stance in fusing essential regulatory reviews into the daily routines and lasting strategies for clients.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in utilizing computers and capable of multitasking effectively in a high-stress situation.
  • Three years of experience in the financial services sector or a sales environment, with a history of successfully meeting or surpassing established goals.
  • Obtained more professional designations, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Procured your insurance approvals.

Minimum Education Requirement

Acquiring a secondary school diploma or GED certification is vital
