About The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the execution and optimization of Smartsheet’s global paid demand programs across paid social and search channels. This is an execution-focused role designed for an experienced paid media professional who enjoys working hands-on with campaigns, data, and creative, and who wants to grow their skills within a performance-driven marketing organization.

You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Demand Generation and cross-functional paid media team members to ensure campaigns are built accurately, launched on time and then continue optimization of those campaigns to drive maximum ROI.

What You’ll Do

Paid Media Execution

  • Setup, launch, and manage paid campaigns across paid social (e.g., LinkedIn Ads) and paid search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads).
  • Manage audience segmentation, campaign structuring, budget pacing, and creative rotation to hit demand generation targets.
  • Optimize campaigns to drive maximum ROI based on performance data and inputs from the Senior Manager and paid media leads.

Creative Testing & OPtimization

  • Upload and manage ad creative, copy variations, and campaign assets across platforms.
  • Run A/B tests across ads, audiences, and formats, report on performance make recommendations for future changes
  • Ensure campaigns follow naming conventions, QA standards, and documentation guidelines to enable accurate measurement

Landing Page & Web Support

  • Support updates to campaign landing pages within Smartsheet’s CMS (Drupal), including content updates and QA.
  • Partner with web and content teams to ensure pages are properly linked, tracked, and aligned with campaign goals.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to landing pages and conversion tracking.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct performance analysis, flag issues and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards showcasing Paid Media performance and impact in partnership with Marketing Operations and Analytics.
  • Monitor campaign results and identify performance trends to inform ongoing optimization.

Operational Excellence

  • Follow established workflows, processes, and QA checklists.
  • Define, document, and champion operational best practices, workflows for the paid media team.
  • Stay current on platform updates and evolving paid media best practices.
  • Participate in other key initiatives in support of the department KPIs
  • Other role responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, paid media, or performance marketing in a B2B environment
  • Hands-on experience with paid social and/or paid search platforms (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) executing and managing campaigns
  • Experience with paid media targeting, bidding, budgets, and creative testing.
  • Comfort working with data and performance metrics, with ability to turn data into actionable optimizations.
  • Experience supporting or updating landing pages in a CMS (Drupal preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented working style.
  • Interest in developing deeper expertise in paid media and demand generation.
  • Fluency in English and eligibility to work in India on an ongoing basis.
