Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities Performs nuclear medicine procedures on patients of all ages by utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in order to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Will rotate to the main campus, 5th street Imaging, and the outpatient cardiology Imaging department as required by the NM Coordinator. Ability to work independently with little oversight. Required to work evenings and weekends as needed. Call required. Qualifications Job Requirements: Must be a graduate of an approved nuclear medicine technologist program. Knowledge and ability to operate nuclear medicine imaging. equipment/computer systems to perform all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required. NMTCB or ARRT(N) eligible within 90 days of hire date. TMB eligible within 90 days of hire date. Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire date. HAZMAT Certification within 90 days of hire date. Preferred Job Requirements: Customer service experience. NMTCB Specialty Certification(s).
