About the Role 

Join Ingram Micro as a Solutions Architect, supporting our vendors and reseller network with expert technical guidance and solution design. You’ll combine technical know-how with strong customer engagement to position Ingram Micro as the distributor of choice. This role is based in Auckland, reporting to the Business Manager – Cyber Security.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide pre-sales technical support for cybersecurity solutions and services 

• Assist resellers with security solution design, bids, and tenders 

• Build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders 

• Support sales opportunities with security expertise and technical input 

• Conduct technical presentations and product enablement sessions 

• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to grow the security portfolio 

• Stay current with emerging security technologies and industry trends 

What You’ll Bring 

• Security certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar) 

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies (network, endpoint, cloud, identity, and threat management) 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship skills 

• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving ability 

• Team player with initiative and solid business acumen
