Location: Nashville, TN office and requires onsite presence Monday through Friday. As part of Tarian’s team, the Security Manager plays a key role in keeping our people, clients, and operations safe. This position supports the development and execution of programs that enable the organization to operate confidently through dynamic situations across the U.S. and globally. This role focuses on physical security operations, emergency preparedness, and threat intelligence management. We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and works collaboratively to get results. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Monitor, assess, and escalate incoming threat and suspicious activity information Support threat and vulnerability assessments to prioritize mitigation efforts Conduct investigative research using internal tools, open-source intelligence, and security platforms Track emerging risks and vulnerabilities that could impact people or operations Analyze data and produce clear, actionable reports on trends and threats Lead continuous improvement efforts across threat management processes Oversee physical security protocols, training, and vendor performance Manage contract security vendors and coordinate event security as needed Partner with IT and Facilities on access control, video systems, and security technology Support the development and refinement of emergency and crisis management procedures Deliver briefings and updates to stakeholders on security-related matters Qualifications What You Bring 5+ years of experience in corporate security, investigations, intelligence, emergency management, or related fields Strong execution skills with the ability to manage both strategic and tactical work A team-first mindset with strong problem-solving and adaptability Professionalism and a commitment to high-quality service Ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams and functions Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
