Client Executive - Warranty & Builders Indemnity Manage an insurance portfolio of construction clients across WA & SA with a focus on builders’ indemnity insurance. You’ll have client-facing interactions and opportunity to deliver solutions, leveraging the extensive HIAIS and Aon network. Who are Aon and HIA? Our joint venture provides us with the unique opportunity to leverage the risk and insurance expertise of Aon, with the HIA's deep knowledge of the housing industry. HIA is Australia’s only national building industry association, representing the interests of the housing industry at regional and national levels. Their extensive membership program for the last 70 years has supported residential builders, trade contractors, developers, design professionals and more. What the day will look like Manage your own portfolio of SME construction clients, while supporting Client Managers (senior brokers) on their larger accounts Guide builders through the eligibility and application process, from initial facility approval through to issuing insurance certificates for construction projects Coordinate with our insurer partner on eligibility reviews and facility increases Handle day-to-day customer service, policy administration and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Work closely with clients and colleagues to help bring general insurance opportunities into the business and facilitate client introductions You will be focused on one statutory product – with set pricing and a single insurer – so you can truly specialise and become a go-to expert in this niche area . Skills and experience that will lead to success Strong financial acumen – able to read and understand financial statements Confident, professional people skills – this product determines what builders can and can’t build, so clear, calm communication is essential Customer-first mindset with the ability to juggle admin while prioritising client needs Resilience, common sense and the confidence to hold your own in client engagements Interest in residential construction and a desire to specialise in this space You do not need a Tier 1 qualification for this role.
