PRN Physical Therapy Assistant - Home Care

A Day in the Life 

• The physical therapy assistant is required to work under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist of record who is responsible for the actions of the physical therapy assistant.

• Complies with universal precautions, infection control, and safety procedures.

• Provides client care services which have been delegated by the physical therapist

• Prepares clinical and progress notes

• Participates in educating the client and family

What’s Required  

• Graduate of a physical therapist assistant associate degree program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.  PTA certification required.

• Home care experience preferred.

• Possess current Michigan motor vehicle license, ability to drive a car, and insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices under various weather conditions.
