Job description

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring clear communication and high responsiveness
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with client representatives
  • Conduct regular client review meetings, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of oil laboratory testing service contracts, coordinating closely with laboratory managers, technical teams, logistics, and support functions to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
  • Monitor service performance KPIs (e.g. turnaround time, data integrity, reporting compliance) and proactively address any deviations or delays
  • Track contract performance, billing cycles, and revenue in collaboration with the finance team
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and align service offerings with evolving client needs
  • Collaborate with laboratory operations and QA/QC teams to ensure testing methodologies comply with international standards (e.g. ASTM, ISO, IP)
  • Identify, propose, and implement technical or process improvements based on client feedback and performance trends
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on account performance, risks, and improvement actions
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of client communications, complaints, corrective actions, and approvals
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in account management within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry
  • Experience in oil laboratory testing services is a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of analytical equipment and laboratory operations related to petroleum testing
  • Proficiency in spoken Cantonese and Mandarin, with fair written English
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Client-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
