About the Opportunity
We are a recruitment partner working with a company building a cryptocurrency exchange in the UAE, currently at an early stage.
The team is looking for a hands-on HR Generalist to support hiring and build core HR processes from scratch while the company scales its leadership team.
This is a high-impact role with strong ownership, combining recruitment, HR operations, and process building — with a clear path to grow into a Head of HR role as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end hiring processes
- Schedule interviews, collect availability, manage calendars
- Communicate with candidates throughout the process
- Support sourcing and participate in interviews when needed
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate work with external recruitment agencies
- Track pipelines, statuses, and feedback loops
- Ensure alignment between agencies and internal stakeholders
HR Operations
- Support onboarding and basic compliance processes
- Maintain HR documentation and hiring records
- Manage internal HR processes (e.g. time-off tracking)
Process Building
- Build and improve hiring workflows
- Contribute to setting up HR processes from scratch
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist / Talent Operations / HR Manager
- Startup experience (early-stage preferred)
- Hands-on experience across both:
- recruitment (coordination + some sourcing/interviewing)
- HR operations (onboarding, documentation, processes)
- Experience working with external recruitment agencies
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and building processes from scratch
- Based in Europe (must-have)
- English — B2+
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech / crypto / tech
- Experience supporting team scaling (10 → 50+)
