You as a Security Manager will:

  • Develop/document site security plan in conjunction with key stakeholders as appropriate (security orders), according to Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) contract security manual and client requirements.

  • Obtain/maintain ACSO role with PSPC where required
  • Responsible for chairing and minute-taking in security meetings.

  • Manage access control for a secure project.

  • Oversight to manage, document and mitigate risk of incidents/breaches.

  • Receive, log, and track sensitive/protected/classified information and assets.

  • Assist in the process of obtaining required security designations for new projects (DOS/FSC)

  • Responsible for PSOS forms for sponsorship of Subcontractors

  • Manage SRCLs for submission to PSPC.

  • Submit VCR forms for personnel clearance and site access.

  • Assist with clearance process for personnel and subcontractors.

Is this the right role for you?

You have a business administration degree or diploma and a minimum of five years of security clearance administration experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience

  • You have experience with managing security personnel 

  • You have leadership experience including leading a remote team and partnering with senior leaders 

  • You have knowledge of processes for setting up construction projects and developing site specific security plans

  • Experience as an Alternate Company Security Office (ACSO) is considered an asset

  • You work positively within a team to achieve a common goal of completion of the project

  • Bilingual (English and French) is required

  • ASIS Certification is an asset

  • Must have Secret Clearance through CISD (PWSGC) or be eligible 

The salary range for this job is $85,000 - $100,000 CAD

En tant que gestionnaire de la sécurité, vous devrez :

  • Élaborer et documenter le plan de sécurité du chantier avec les principales parties prenantes (directives sur la sécurité) lorsque nécessaire, conformément aux exigences contractuelles de Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada (SPAC) ainsi qu’à celles du client.

  • Obtenir et maintenir la désignation d’ASER auprès de SPAC, au besoin.

  • Présider les réunions de sécurité et rédiger les comptes rendus.

  • Gérer le contrôle d’accès d’un projet sécurisé.

  • Superviser la gestion, la documentation et l’atténuation des risques liés aux incidents et aux infractions.

  • Recevoir, consigner et faire le suivi des informations et des actifs sensibles, protégés et/ou classifiés.

  • Participer au processus d’obtention des désignations de sécurité requises pour les nouveaux projets (VOD/ASI).

  • Assurer la gestion des formulaires de demande ESOSP pour le parrainage des sous-traitants.

  • Gérer les LVERS dans le cadre des soumissions auprès de SPAC.

  • Soumettre les formulaires de DPV requis pour l’autorisation du personnel et l’accès au chantier.

  • Contribuer au processus d’autorisation du personnel et des sous-traitants.

Ce poste est-il fait pour vous?

  • Vous détenez un baccalauréat ou une maîtrise en administration des affaires et possédez au moins cinq années d’expérience en gestion des autorisations de sécurité, ou une combinaison équivalente de formation technique et d’expérience.

  • Vous avez une expérience pertinente en gestion de la sécurité du personnel. 

  • Vous possédez une expérience en leadership, incluant la gestion d’une équipe à distance et la collaboration avec des cadres supérieurs. 

  • Vous connaissez les processus de mise en œuvre des projets de construction ainsi que l’élaboration des plans de sécurité propres à chaque projet.

  • L’expérience à titre d’agent(e) de sécurité d’entreprise remplaçant(e) (ASER) constitue un atout.

  • Vous faites preuve d’une attitude positive et collaborez efficacement dans une équipe afin d’atteindre les objectifs du projet.

  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est requis.

  • La certification ASIS est un atout.

  • Vous devez détenir une autorisation secrète délivrée par la DSIC (SPAC) ou être admissible à son obtention. 

L’échelle salariale pour ce rôle est de 85 000$ à 100 000 $ CA.
