General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a full-time Mission Coordinator, Scheduler, and Data Analyst who holds an active Top Secret/Special Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph at Beale Air Force Base, California.
Responsibilities:
- Serves on a small team as an analyst providing resource allocation and services scheduling.
- Identifies and analyzes mission and customer needs; conducts requirements data gathering to inform scope and objectives definition.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to identifying and eliminating duplication, investigating all opportunities in resource allocation, streamlining schedules to efficiently manage and optimize use cases, develop and use web-based tools and participate in process improvement.
- Tasks will require liaison with various operational contacts, mission planning, and test and exercise planners to obtain scheduling requirements and objectives, then assist in sequencing and deconflicting events.
- Assists conflicted customers and assists with priority determinations and work-around solutions.
- Uses web-based tools to develop and publish schedule products for dissemination to partners and customers; applies change management and re-scheduling actions, sometimes on short-notice.
- Uses quantitative analysis to perform data, risk, and/or process measurements and use metrics.
- Maintains and uses best practices, standard operating procedures, and concepts of operation.
- Partners with customer representatives, process/tools owners and management to satisfy mission needs and scheduling solutions.
- Supports and collaborates on strategic initiatives.
- May be responsible for resolution of complex problems and providing resolution recommendations or reports.
- Assists program authorities, partners, and customer groups with future planning and forecasts for resources and services.
- Performs data analysis and periodically creates reports and briefings.
- May develop team procedures and coach, train, or provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
- May manage highly complex problems, perform under tight time constraints and on short-notice deadlines.
- May serve as a team or task lead.
- Work schedule may require working on weekends and holidays.
- Occasional travel (<25%).
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent required; prefer STEM, Operational Analysis, Intelligence and Information Operations.
- Work experience and certification may be acceptable in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of experience supporting of Air Force operations highly desired; prefer Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Operations, Operations Scheduling, Mission Planning, Intelligence Operations Analyst, or Intelligence Collection Management.
- Knowledge of datalinks, communications networks/architecture, and relay systems is highly desired.
- Experience as a Liaison Officer, Staff Officer, Flight Commander or Director of Operations with familiarity of the (ISR) Air Force or Joint ISR missions is highly desired.
- Knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Excel, is required.
- Operational or developmental test experience or certification is desired.
- Military systems acquisitions experience is a plus.
