Responsibilities:
- Component Assembly: Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies to form complete gearboxes according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct inspections and tests to ensure that components meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and address any defects or issues.
- Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble and test gearboxes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and any adjustments or repairs made.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve assembly issues, ensuring that the final product is fully functional and meets all performance requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, quality control, and other team members to ensure efficient and accurate assembly processes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- NITEC /Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years working experience in a Precision Engineering environment.
- Basic command of written and spoken English.
- Able to work weekly rotating shifts
