About The Job The Quality Lab Administrator will be responsible for the daily operation of Lab Admin function in relation to all sample management including retain, purchase ordering, sample requests, external testing and sample delivery. Assist in all aspect of supervisory and training requirements within the cell. Main responsibilities & KPI’s Maintaining KPI’s within the cell structure Booking in process by established SOP’s of all internal and 3rd party products Processing resamples requests for additional testing Maintenance of Finished goods and Raw Materials retained stores Processing purchase orders for consumables and equipment for the Quality Department Packing note filing and archiving Basic problem solving Assisting with continuous improvements and identify possible new improvements Anticipate problems and put in place corrective actions Assisting in relation to out of specification results and investigations Assisting in the introduction and validation of new methods and equipment as required Performing Customer Experience checks Scoop weight analysis and reporting Undertake/Deliver training as required by Nutricia Comply with Health and Safety Standards Maintenance and writing of new SOP’s Deputise for other team members in relation to Sensory analysis, External sample reporting and Booking in process Engage, support and assist with departments GLP program Maintenance of external cross charge spreadsheets Assist with raising maintenance requests for the department About You Education & professional experiences needed English speaking Relevant academic qualifications/experience in Pharma or FMCG environment is an advantage Capable of working on multiple priorities Able to contribute to the benefit of the team Adaptable enough to work in an environment that changes / challenges daily Ability to work in a fast paced, heavily targeted and measured environment Functional competencies needed & technical skills Technical skills: Accustomed with physical processing of food ingredients, especially dry powder Good analytical and technical capabilities Presentation skills Problem solving skills PC literate and comfortable using Microsoft/Outlook/SAP/LIMS and system related software Specific to sensory – A good taste palate Managerial Competencies and personal skills needed Committed: Inspire & be the vision Cut through complexity and focus on key issues Commit to create breakthrough results Actively seek out new ideas for continuous improvement Open: Good listener Ability to give open and constructive feedback Proximity to all levels and functions Open and willing to share ideas Inquisitive Good networker and collaborator with other functions & sites and the external world Dare to step up and share strong convictions Doer: Delivering on promises Taking responsibility take initiatives and measured risks Decision making Agile and pragmatic Complex problem solving and big picture thinking Managing complexity Empowered: Empowering self and teams Coaching and development of people Coach-able and willingness to learn and develop Engage with diverse stakeholders Self Aware: Engage with diverse stakeholders Manage own emotions in a range of situations Give and receive feedback in a consyructive manner Dare to step upand share strong convictions About Us Enhance personal knowledge and skills set to facilitate the progression within Danone.
