The Senior Etch Equipment Engineer plays a critical role in keeping our photomask manufacturing tools running at peak performance. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on equipment reliability, defect reduction, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with process engineers, vendors, and fellow equipment experts to drive yield, uptime, and technology advancement.
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot defect and equipment issues using data-driven analysis and root cause methods
  • Collect, analyze, and report tool data to improve performance and reliability
  • Design, recommend, and implement tool repairs, modifications, and upgrades
  • Document procedures, excursions, and equipment changes
  • Train and mentor team members on tool operation and improvements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment
  • Hands-on experience with vacuum subsystems on semiconductor process tools such as Etch and CVD in a cleanroom environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and data analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting photomask or advanced lithography manufacturing
  • Familiarity with defect reduction and yield improvement methodologies
  • Experience working directly with equipment vendors
  • Ability to lead tool improvements or technology upgrade
