Position Responsibilities
Establish, own, and manage the product strategy for the product, including a vision, comprehensive business model, view of key infrastructure gaps, and understanding of competitive and market forces. Develop the first principles of the product and business that will support all decision making. Create and facilitate frameworks and decision-making structures that enable the global team to solve and align complex product and business problems. Own a clear view of the product and business and the model and forecast that will help the business make key short- and long-term decisions. Continuously monitor the market forces relevant to the product and business as well as the competitor activities. Work with User Research teams to design and deploy research vehicles such as surveys, usability studies, focus groups, etc. to gain user insights that influence product decisions. Manage ongoing product needs and sustain and grow product operations and iterations. Establish cross-functional team processes to ensure effective and efficient product management. Adjust priority in real-time as situations change. Develop data requirements for the product, users, content that will enable critical use cases and value over time. Work closely with the data team to Support operations needs including product issue resolution, local regional sales team issue collaboration, customer issue analysis to identify key product challenges and opportunities, work with key local retailers to enhance value and solve issues. Present and communicate proposals to company-wide stakeholders to gain alignment on key products and business initiatives, including the highest-level executives of the organization. Manage relationships throughout the organization to broker deals, establish allegiances, and pull together force vectors to unlock product value, targeting business growth. Grow the team and manage the talent and provide direction and growth opportunities.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Business, Design, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or as a Business Strategist, Product Strategist, or another related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: (1) applying understanding of business-to-consumer business requirements for forward business planning, leveraging current and future states; (2) coordinating and aligning with cross-functional stakeholders in a global organization; (3) building and managing business models and leveraging those models to conduct opportunity sizing; and (4) managing four or more team members and cross-functional stakeholders in large impact projects, including project timelines, delegation of responsibilities, timely deliverable execution, and communication and presentation of final deliverable to executive stakeholders. Must have two years of experience in the following skill: (5) using business-to-consumer based services to develop user-value-grounded product recommendations including product roadmaps that consider opportunities and risks. Domestic and/or international travel required up to 25%. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week. Salary Range: $241,925/year to $270,000/year
