Job description

Camp counselors will plan and implement literacy-based activities centered around weekly themes such as films, animals, and the ocean. These activities include arts and crafts, yard games, journaling, and more. Counselors will work as a team to facilitate these activities, and will be responsible for one group of campers.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Working with the CLC Camp Director, develop lessons and activities for camp.

  • Facilitate camp programming.

  • Working with co-counselor, support groups of 12 campers.

  • Communicate with families about campers’ days.

  • Other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Some high school

  • Previous work with children.

  • Some coursework in education preferred

Compensation Pay Range:

$12-$15, depending on experience
