Job description
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, growth initiatives, and project feasibility assessments
- Assist in the preparation and management of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including monitoring adherence and providing regular updates
- Analyze financial data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide insights to support decision-making across departments
- Prepare account analyses and reconciliations for month-end closing activities
- Extract, organize, and report financial data for standard and ad-hoc requests, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support the Finance team in researching and documenting technical accounting matters as needed
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Actively working towards a professional accounting designation (Chartered Professional Accountant)
- Minimum 2-3 years of directly related work experience in accounting, financial analysis or audit role
- Strong ability to use MS Office applications, advanced Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large quantities of financial and statistical data
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
