Job description
IT Project Manager with the following key responsibilities:
- Lead and direct project team to ensure successful implementation of project on time and within the agreed scope and budget.
- Lead and direct projects classified as standard to medium.
- Engage with the Business users and the technical team members directly and manage all aspects of the project.
- Track project financial
- Manage vendors and external parties to ensure smooth implementation of program activities.
- Develop and manage scope, quality, costs and schedules.
- Oversee to ensure quality of deliverables
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones, deliverables and benefits per plan
- Identify risk and manage mitigation measures.
- Ensure timely escalation of project risks, issues & change requests for guidance and decision where necessary.
- Ensure proper facilities and resources are available within the project.
- Monitor progress and provide guidance to project team member where necessary
- Resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate project progress and statuses to Management & project team on a regular and timely basis
- Ensure compliance to all processes, audit and risk matters in the execution of IT Projects.
- Manage the monthly reporting and status updates, as and when needed to Group Project Management
