At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components.
What You Will Do
In the role of Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for;
• Inspection, Testing, Repair and Assembly of wire harnesses
• Working to manufacturers specifications/blueprints/schematics and manuals
• Diagnostics and trouble-shooting faults
• Compilation of Inspection/Repair Reports
• Experience in the use of heat shrink materials

Qualifications We Prefer
Essentials
• Time served in a relevant discipline (with trade papers or an equivalent qualification i.e. SVQ Level 3)
• Good communication skills both written and verbal and candidates will be required to demonstrate numerical, literacy and computer literacy skills.
• Compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements
Desirable
• Previous experience in the aviation environment, specific to maintenance repair and overhaul
• Knowledge of Aircraft technical manuals and drawings
• SAP experience would be advantageous although not essential
• An understanding of the principles of Lean/Continuous Improvement would be advantageous.
The role requires flexibility in rapidly evolving global aviation market. Dayshift/backshift rotation will be required in the role (with associated competitive premiums) and will be complemented with comprehensive training that supports personal growth and development.
