DevOps Engineer

• 5–7 years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments and services such as EC2, VPC, ALB, EKS, and security services.
• Hands-on experience with Istio service mesh for advanced service discovery of microservices running in the cluster.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in networking/VPN and security.
• Ability to support live production systems and troubleshoot effectively using strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in automating end-to-end deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code and Immutable Infrastructure principles.
• Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Ability to develop automation across the full lifecycle, including provisioning, configuration, orchestration, and ongoing management.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Strong experience in automation and configuration management using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, AWS CDK, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and methodologies on AWS.
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, Graylog, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Experience with logging and reporting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentd, and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and APIs (good to have).
• Hands-on experience with CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Travis CI, or similar.
• Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, security systems, and DDoS protection.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and open-source technologies.
• Expertise in database administration and management: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Maven build tool.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (Container Orchestration).
