Location: Washington, DC 20433

Duration: Long Term

Hybrid Onsite: 4 days per week from Day 1, with a full transition to 100% onsite anticipated soon

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of data warehousing, lakehouse architecture, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake, along with exposure to AI/ML concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure data services
• Build and maintain data warehouse and lakehouse architectures
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
• Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics
• Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Work with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake for unified data management
• Support and integrate AI/ML use cases within data pipelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake)
• 8+ years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience in Power BI (DAX, dashboards, data modeling)
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
• Experience with Lakehouse architecture
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and OneLake
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and data integration
