Job Details An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps individuals across the lifespan develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and working skills needed to live independently. Evaluates and treats physician-referred patients by organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs. Facilitates rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance. Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, and promotes and maintains health. Requirements: NY State Occupational Therapy License and registration. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Organizational ability . Salary Range USD $44.41 - USD $55.55 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
