Position Summary Winnie Palmer Hospital is seeking for an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide safe transfer of patients to local facilities, discharges and outlying facilities. Qualifications Experience One (1) year of ambulance driving experience and/or Fire Department experience. Education/Training High school graduate or equivalent Successful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program from approved/accredited Department of Transportation (DOT) program. May also be a graduate of an additional paramedic program. Licensure/Certification Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license or Paramedic (PMD) license in the State of Florida renewed every two (2) years. Maintain current Basic life support certification (BLS). Emergency Vehicle Operator's Certificate (EVOC) certification. Valid Florida driver?s license with no more than six (6) points, at least 21 years of age, and must be insurable under the Orlando Health Insurance carrier's requirements and standards.
