Our Newest Opportunity: 

OneDigital is growing, and we are looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in a fast-paced, integrated marketing environment and have a strong foundation across digital marketing, campaign execution, event support, and results-driven strategy.

This role will play a key part in supporting growth initiatives across the Central Region, working closely with regional leadership, producers, and the national marketing team to help develop and deliver strategies and assets that support OneDigital’s insurance, HR, and financial services solutions.

The Growth Marketing Specialist will be involved in a wide range of marketing initiatives, including campaign execution, thought leadership support, event strategy and activation, producer enablement, website and collateral updates, and marketing automation activities. This role requires strategic thinking, strong execution, collaboration, and an analytical mindset to help drive business growth and elevate the prospect and client experience.

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Growth Marketing and will also work closely with the Senior Director and Growth Marketing Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Location and Travel

This is a remote role.  Candidate is ideally based in Chicago or in the Central Region (Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, Michigan, Kansas). There is location flexibility but must be in Central or Eastern Time Zone. The candidate should be comfortable supporting the Central Region and willing to travel up to 10% throughout the year for regional events, market meetings, and in-person planning sessions.

In this role, you will:

  • Support execution of strategic marketing plans and regional growth initiatives in partnership with the Senior Manager of Growth Marketing and key stakeholders
  • Support digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Otimizely CMS, HubSpot, ON24, and related tools
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing-led events, with an emphasis on growth strategy, field enablement, and leveraging events for prospecting and pipeline impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for MQLs, ensuring they are routed to the appropriate producer and contacted in a timely manner.
  • Conduct 1:1 trainings and consultations with producers, especially new producers, on sales and marketing tools, resources, and best practices
  • Explore and apply AI-driven solutions to modernize marketing workflows, unlock efficiencies, and improve how teams create, optimize, and deliver campaigns.
  • Support the development of leading generation and opportunity by providing data, insights, and strategic recommendations to regional sales teams.
  • Edit and update website content, blogs, and press releases to ensure timely, relevant, and accurate messaging
  • Provide support for sales enablement tools such as Outreach
  • Manage and respond to internal marketing request tickets with strong prioritization, follow-through, and communication
  • Collaborate with sales, client service, operations, and IT teams to support data quality and marketing deliverables
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign and initiative performance, offering actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with brand guidelines and compliance standards
  • Support sponsorships and partnerships by helping coordinate opportunities, execution, follow-up, and ROI tracking

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Experience supporting integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns and events
  • Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, including HubSpot, Outreach, Optimizely, ON24, and website content management systems
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across a matrixed organization
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot and Outreach
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite and a solid understanding of basic design principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into action
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with cross-functional teams and field partners
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% to support regional priorities and in-market events

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $55,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year.  

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
