Job Summary

This job is responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives through research and an understanding of applicable business systems. It includes creating development specs, feasibility studies, and project planning assistance. The role tracks implementation, ensures data quality, and connects clients, users, and IT. It involves software solution integration, team collaboration on enhancements, and keeping up with industry trends.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Developing detailed functional and technical specifications to guide the programming and software development process
  • Analyzing and documenting revisions to system set-up based on business/user requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
  • Conducting research and feasibility studies for the design of new information systems to address evolving business demands
  • Assisting with project plans, timelines, and cost-benefit analyses for system implementations, while adhering to budget and scheduling constraints
  • Monitoring the progress of system implementations, ensuring adherence to established timelines and budgetary guidelines
  • Maintaining data quality and integrity across various application implementations, focusing on data-specific systems
  • Serving as a liaison among clients, users, IT, and software vendors to develop system solutions for business challenges
  • Evaluating and integrate industry-specific software solutions to enhance business processes and information systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and troubleshoot technical issues, providing a moderate level of technical expertise
  • Participating in continuous learning to improve knowledge of business information systems, keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
