In Room Dining Busperson

Reporting to the In-Room Dining Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• To ensure the hotel’s hallways and guest rooms are clear of dirty Food and Beverage china, silverware, glassware and linen
• Assist the servers in set up and clearing of tables
• May assist in delivery and refreshment of guest amenities
• Replenishment of clean linens and food supplies for the department
• Clean and polishes IRD tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, coffee urns, and keeps the IRD department area clean
• May run errands and deliver food orders to offices and hotel rooms
• Adhere to hotel safety rules and regulations

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience is an asset
• Ability to deliver engaging guest service

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Lift and carry items up to 50lbs i.e. linen and delivery trays
• use hands and fingers skillfully and easily
• Carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine
