The opportunity:  
 

We're on the hunt for a passionate and hands-on Marketing Specialist to join Fitness First. Based in our Sydney CBD office, this role is ideal for someone who is customer obsessed and has a passion for the fitness industry.  

You love looking at customer insights and building campaigns and content which will drive brand growth, lead generation and member engagement. You have a passion for social media and love building content strategy, plans, working with clubs to develop content, work with influencers and social media agencies, love to schedule content and don’t mind getting in front of the camera if needed.
 
 

Working closely with our marketing, club operations, and wider teams, you’ll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to build the Fitness First brand.  

 

This is a great opportunity for a content-savvy Marketing Specialist who’s confident in spotting trends, telling compelling stories through short-form video, and excited by the idea of building a brand that inspires and energises people. Bonus points if you’re already a Fitness First fan! 
 

Based in our Sydney CBD office, this is a 12-month contract opportunity commencing around 1st June 
 

Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):  


Campaign Delivery & Project Management 

  • Support the end-to-end rollout of GTM campaigns, product launches and tactical promotions. 

  • Ensure campaigns are integrated across all owned channels (digital, social, email, app, in-club, print, video, audio). 

Content & Channel Management 

  • Own the day-to-day management of organic social strategy, content calendar and community engagement. 

  • Develop and deliver content including blogs, newsletters and landing pages. 

  • Know your way around Meta Business, TikTik and YouTube Platforms. 

  • Can utilise social media editing tools such as Capcut, Canva, Adobe and can work well with agencies and influencers that produce content – writing briefs and editing content. 

  • You also don’t mind getting in front of the camera for authentic content opportunities. 

Partnerships & Sponsorships 

  • Support the execution of brand partnerships and sponsorship activations, ensuring assets and campaigns are delivered on time and aligned to strategy. 

  • Implement partner marketing activity, including in-club activations, co-branded content and campaign rollouts. 

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Support 

  • Act as a key contact across Marketing, Creative, Operations and external agencies to coordinate campaign deliverables. 

  • Build strong relationships across departments to enable fast, accurate delivery. 

Performance & Continuous Improvement 

  • Monitor and analyse channel and campaign performance, providing insights and optimisation recommendations. 

  • Share learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of campaign planning and execution. 

To be successful in this role you will need: 
 

  • Campaigns and initiatives delivered on time, on budget and to brand standards. 

  • Growth in member acquisition, engagement and leads from marketing activity. 

  • Positive feedback from internal stakeholders, partners and club teams. 

  • Strong execution and measurable impact of partnerships and sponsorships. 

  • Consistency and accuracy across all content and channels. 

 

About you:  

  • A few years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within consumer, retail, lifestyle or service industries. 

  • Proven ability to manage and deliver campaigns across multiple channels. 

  • Has a passion for social media and loves to drive social media channel strategy, write social briefs, work with social media agencies, is confident to get in front of the camera for posts, and work with social media influences and schedule content across multiple platforms. 

  • Strong writing and content development skills across digital, social and member communications. 

  • Experience in partnerships, sponsorships or events marketing execution. 

  • Highly organised with excellent project management and stakeholder coordination skills. 

  • Commercial mindset with ability to interpret performance data and provide insights. 

  • Collaborative team player, able to build strong relationships across teams and external partners.
