We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our newly formed Automation Squad at VML (Part of WPP), supporting one of our major offshore clients. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in Business Analysis or Process Improvement roles, a passion for automation, and strong analytical skills to optimize internal workflows.
What you’ll do
- Process Assessment & Documentation: Analyze and document existing content authoring and QA processes, identifying manual steps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
- Opportunity Identification: Spot automation opportunities (e.g., RPA, system integrations, workflow optimization) to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Requirements Definition: Develop clear and concise functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide automation development.
- Collaboration & Solution Design: Partner with Automation Developers, QA Automation Specialists, and the Program Manager to design and implement automation solutions.
- Impact & Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented automation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert on processes, ensuring alignment and clear communication within the team.
What you’ll need
- English: Advanced Level
- Experience: 2–4 years in Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related roles.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and design effective solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English for documentation and team collaboration.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with proven collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to evolving business environments, priorities, and technologies.
- Solutions-oriented with a passion for process optimization and automation.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
- Experience with process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN), workflow automation tools (e.g., RPA platforms), or digital content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).
- Knowledge of programming languages, scripting, or APIs.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Miro).
