ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
We are seeking a confident, energetic, and charismatic Technical Specialist to join our Melbourne team. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to the Technical Services function for Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for the technical support of the Avery Dennison and Mactac brands across ANZ , working with product segments that include Sign, Automotive, Reflective, Screen, Digital Print, and Window Films.
Please note: Regular interstate and occasional international travel is required for this position.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Key Accountabilities:
Deliver proactive Technical Services to the Australia & New Zealand Graphics Solutions business
Deliver value-added programs & training for the sales organisation, distributors, converters, installers and end users.
Actively support the Avery Dennison Warranty Program by qualifying and issuing Warranties in Australia and New Zealand for programs identified by sales and marketing staff
Support the implementation and certification of the Certified Installer and Partner Program Network throughout ANZ
Deliver market-leading application workshops, providing up-to-date and relevant content and practical skills to users of Avery Dennison products
Undertake and deliver on objectives for special new product introduction, application and research projects as required
Work closely with global R&D teams and Quality Teams to help develop new products and problem-solve issues
Essential Technical Skills
Technical background and five (5) years of industry experience in the areas of:
Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Automotive Window Films (AWF)
Fleet and custom vehicle wrap application techniques
Digital inkjet and computer-cut production processes - experience is highly desirable
General business process understanding, with a knowledge of the links between customer orders, production planning and manufacturing, and customer delivery
A relatively sophisticated level of computer skills, with strong preference being given to candidates with experience in the following environments: Google Suite, Windows & Microsoft Office
Experience in representing and or working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Exposure to and or working collaboratively with Technical / Sales / Marketing / Operational and Management teams
Ability to train and present to large groups in an efficient manner.
