Job description

  • Analyse and collate data from multiple internal and external sources to complete credit risk reviews
  • Communicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence and shape risk/ reward decisions
  • Review financial information: P&L, Balance sheet, and cashflow statements, and compile trend analysis, produce risk reviews for senior management and external insurance companies. 
  • Accurate and timely record keeping
  • Workload planning and prioritisation
  • Manage accounts through to conclusion, working to agreed deadlines and obtaining buy in for actions from key stakeholders
  • Fraud prevention using spend trends to identify risks
  • Timely query resolution, working with colleagues in other departments, such as sales, Account Management, Fraud and to resolve issues
  • Manage the relationship with sales account management to ensure open communication and agreed level of risk/ reward
  • Underwrite credit limits
  • Presenting credit recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Credit Review management, ensuring effective decisions are made to minimize risk
  • Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge
  • Participate in meetings and projects with wider credit team to continually improve department performance
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the Radius Group
  • Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and credit risk principles
  • Strong Excel skills (data analysis, trend identification, reporting), and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Fluent in English and German, other European language is a plus
