Grade 2 Podiatrist at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne's High Risk Foot Service and Podiatry Department
Casual position, work in acute and subacute admitted and non-admitted services
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our casual pool, supporting services across St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne sites (Fitzroy and Kew). This role offers variety and flexibility, with shifts allocated based on service demand.
You will bring strong clinical skills in the assessment and management of high-risk foot conditions and be confident working independently across inpatient and outpatient settings. You’ll be part of a collaborative, inter-idisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care.
Classifications for this position will range from CM7 -CV8 ($45 - $52 per hour plus 25% casual loading).
Duties
Deliver high-quality podiatry care including assessment, treatment, evaluation, and discharge planning
Support safe and effective patient transitions across the continuum of care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes
Provide supervision and teaching to undergraduate students
About You
Registered Podiatrist with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute and/or subacute hospital setting
Demonstrated experience in high-risk foot management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

The Podiatry Department and High Risk Foot Service is a week day service delivering comprehensive, inter-disciplinary care across acute, subacute, residential, and correctional settings. Services operate across multiple sites including Fitzroy, Kew, and community-based locations.
