We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to oversee and execute complex manufacturing tool deployment projects supporting manufacturing. A successful candidate will have advanced data analytic skills, an ability to project management large scale site wide initiatives, and vision for long term sustainment. This would be inclusive of change management activities to align projects with company objectives. This role requires a collaborative leader capable of managing cross-functional teams and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
What You Will Do
Lead end-to-end project activities for manufacturing, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management and closure.
Apply Certified Scrum Master (CSM) principles to foster agile project delivery and team collaboration.
Lead cross functional teams to develop and proliferate manufacturing workforce metrics, staffing, and schedule management tools used for sustainment and different reporting dashboards.
Designed and programmed a custom MS Access Database utilizing VBA and SQL
Drive process improvements and change initiatives using Prosci Change Management methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain, to meet project goals and deadlines.
Monitor project performance metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Address project risks and challenges proactively, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on deliverables.
Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to write and deliver executive communication
Occasional business travel as needed
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Industrial Engineering or a related field
Experience with using SharePoint and Launchpad
Extensive user SAP experience and knowledge with supporting a manufacturing environment
Strong teaming skills to work with multiple levels of stakeholders (factory operators, peers, & management)
Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
Process flow optimization
Problem solving/root cause analysis
Cost benefit analysis
Station loading/line balancing, staff planning, and capacity analysis
Standard work documentation
AutoCAD and 3D modeling
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance
Programming and integration of automated equipment
Experience modifying and troubleshooting machine programs schedules

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
