What You Will Do *
Responsible for the products value stream assigned.
Owns and controls repair processes within the value stream.
Support integration of automation into product line, sustain and enhancement.
Develop & maintain adequate process control to achieve consistent quality products.
Ensure repair process work instruction meets the standard work requirements.
Enhance repair procedures, improve process robustness & output through process improvement and standard work.
Provide technical support for Operations, including troubleshooting process & equipment-related issues, and technical data interpretation.
Perform regular process/technical data reviews to ensure compliance, and to implement process certification.
Liaise with P&W and other engine OEM on technical data review, process qualification, and technology transfer.
Defect review and provide formal disposition, validation of repair data, approval of technical deviations, and ensuring all repairs comply with regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards
Support the implementation of Repair Process Standard Work (RPSW) requirements in products value stream
Liaise with contractors on the design & manufacturing of new tooling and fixtures.
Support new equipment purchase & installation, as required.
Responsible for introduction of new repairs into current operations
Liaise with P&W and other engine OEM on technical data review, process qualification, and technology transfer.
Actively support and participate in company initiatives such as Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), Technology & Automation and Lean manufacturing activities.
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have *
Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Materials Engineering from a recognized institution.
Familiar with engine module disassembly and assembly process.
Familiar with automation integration
Good understanding of workshop practices and repair processes.
Be able to interpret engine manuals and blueprints and translate information to the work instructions.
Good understanding of the relevant airworthiness and regulatory agencies requirement.
Experienced with creation and revision of detailed work instructions.
Full understanding of process planning, process control, tooling & gauging.
Good understanding of Lean concepts, Mistake Proofing, Process Certification.
Be able to work well independently, and in a team-oriented environment.
Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications We Prefer
· Experience in troubleshooting and investigations in engine module and component repair.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
