ABOUT THE ROLE
The Material Handler plays a key role in supporting daily factory operations by ensuring materials and products are accurately received, stored, and distributed. This position is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility, helping maintain inventory accuracy, and supporting production teams with timely material delivery. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to contribute directly to operational efficiency and product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Accurately record and store materials in designated locations
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to support production lines
- Pack and prepare outbound shipments in accordance with company standards
- Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- Fulfill internal requests for surplus or replacement parts
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and warehouse areas
- Utilize RF scanners and internal systems to track inventory movement
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math and computer proficiency; willingness to learn new systems and RF devices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to read labels and follow written instructions accurately
