Nexgencloud
Events Marketing Manager
Salary
Job description
Events Marketing Manager
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: London (Tuesday to Thursday in the office)
ABOUT NEXGEN CLOUD:
We are a fast-growing company building next-generation GPU cloud infrastructure. NexGen Cloud is the company behind Hyperstack, a cloud platform providing on-demand and private cloud infrastructure for high-performance workloads. Hyperstack is used by teams running compute-heavy applications that need speed, reliability, and control.
We’re a scale-up by design: moving fast, solving complex problems and building technology that has real-world impact. At the core of NexGen Cloud is a team of curious, driven people who care deeply about quality, ownership and collaboration.
THE ROLE:
This role exists because events and community are central to how Hyperstack builds pipeline, deepens customer relationships, and establishes brand authority in the AI and cloud infrastructure space. Every event we run or attend is a Hyperstack event — and as we scale our go-to-market across EMEA and beyond, we need a dedicated, creative owner who understands that events are one of the most direct levers we have for generating qualified pipeline and accelerating revenue.
You'll have direct ownership over the full Hyperstack events and community marketing function — including strategy, planning, execution, pipeline reporting, and lead lifecycle management across every event type we run or attend.
This is a role for someone who doesn't just want to run stands — they want to own the room. You're creative, commercially-minded, and highly organised. You understand that great events aren't measured by footfall alone, but by the pipeline they generate, the revenue they influence, and the customer relationships they build. Pipeline impact is how this role is measured and how success is defined.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Event Strategy & Calendar Ownership
- Own and drive the annual Hyperstack events calendar — proactively identifying where our target customers will be and ensuring Hyperstack has a compelling, well-planned presence
- Build a structured events pipeline spanning external exhibitions and conferences, hosted customer events, partner co-events, side events, and community activations
- Prioritise events based on pipeline opportunity, customer relevance, and brand impact — not just visibility — and maintain a clear view of expected pipeline contribution per event before committing budget
End-to-End Event Execution
- Take full end-to-end ownership of every Hyperstack event from ideation through to execution and post-event pipeline reporting
- Manage all logistics including travel, accommodation, venue booking, booth build, merchandise, event branding, and on-site coordination
- Ensure all meeting rooms, external venues, and event spaces are booked, organised, and branded appropriately where required
- Design and deliver standout event experiences — going beyond traditional booth builds to identify creative brand impact opportunities that generate real attention and maximise pipeline opportunity
Lead Generation & Lifecycle Management
- Own the full lead lifecycle for every event — from pre-event outreach and audience warming, through on-site capture, to post-event follow-up and handoff to Sales
- Build and execute pre-event marketing campaigns to drive awareness, book meetings, and maximise attendance quality before the event even starts
- Coordinate structured post-event follow-up sequences with the Sales team, including invitations to webinars, internal events, and future activations
- Report on event performance with pipeline as the primary metric — tracking leads generated, pipeline created, pipeline influenced, meetings booked, and ROI per event, with structured reporting delivered to Sales and Marketing leadership
Community & Side Event Management
- Build and nurture relationships with AI and tech communities to run local events, host talks, and create networking opportunities that drive both new customer acquisition and customer retention
- Organise and manage side events running alongside major industry conferences — including panels, customer roundtables, partner dinners, and sponsored meetups
- Develop Hyperstack's own event space as a community hub, bringing in speakers and facilitating conversations that position us as a key voice in the AI infrastructure conversation
Hospitality & Customer Experience Events
- Plan and deliver high-quality hospitality events for current customers — from curated days out to hosted stand-up receptions — ensuring every touchpoint reinforces relationship quality
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management to identify the right customers for the right hospitality moments
- Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and logistics for all hospitality activations
Partner & Co-Marketing Events
- Liaise with Hyperstack's Partnerships team to identify and deliver co-marketing and co-exhibiting opportunities with key partners.
- Build relationships directly with partners' events teams to ensure joint activations are well-planned, dual-branded, and commercially impactful
- Explore and execute dual-branding opportunities that extend our reach into partner audiences
Brand & Creative Direction
- Bring a strong creative eye to event design — including booth concept, merchandise design, branded materials, and the overall event experience
- Ensure all event presence is visually consistent with Hyperstack brand guidelines while still finding room for creativity and differentiation
- Continuously push the boundaries of what 'exhibiting' looks like — exploring sponsorships, speaking slots, interactive experiences, and ambient brand moments
ABOUT YOU:
We’re more interested in how you think and work than in a perfect CV. You’ll likely bring a combination of the following:
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in events and/or community marketing, ideally within the AI, cloud, or wider tech sector
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end event delivery — from planning through execution to reporting — across a variety of event formats
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how events generate pipeline — you know how to measure it, report on it, and use it to justify and optimise future event spend
- Experience managing pre- and post-event lead nurture campaigns and working closely with Sales teams to ensure seamless handoffs
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- A genuine creative eye — for event design, merchandise, experiential moments, and brand presence
- Strong communicator and relationship-builder, equally comfortable managing internal stakeholders and external partners
Nice to Have
- Experience exhibiting at or managing presence at major AI/tech industry events (e.g., SuperComputing, GPU Technology Conference, Raise Summit, NVIDIA GTC, etc.)
- Experience running community events, meetups, or building an engaged audience within a technical or AI-adjacent space
- Background in co-marketing or partner events, particularly with large technology vendors
- Experience managing hospitality and VIP customer event programmes
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools for lead tracking and campaign sequencing
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus scheme
- Employee wellbeing benefits
- 25 days of holiday, plus public holidays
- Flexible working arrangements (remote or hybrid, depending on role and location)
- Real ownership and autonomy, with the trust to take initiative and experiment
- The opportunity to make a visible, meaningful impact as we scale
- Clear career progression and growth opportunities in a fast-growing company
- A collaborative, international culture built on trust, transparency, and ownership
- The chance to help shape NexGen Cloud’s team, culture, and future alongside ambitious, mission-driven colleagues
